Stone surrounds are available in a variety of hand-crafted contemporary and traditional designs. Made from Aegean limestone, Corinthian stone, Carrara marble and Portuguese Limestone. Each stone has its own distinct and unique appearance. No two surrounds are the same due the natural formation of the stone.
Aegean Limestone is beautifully unique in character, each has its own individual fossil formation, veining and colour.
Corinthian stone a stunning honed Limestone has a rich sandy colour that provides a delicate warm feel. Each surround is unique due to small fossils and random sedimentary veining. A stone to give a homely, cosy fireplace.
Carrara marble a beautiful marble quarried in the Italian city of Carrara. Every one of Capital Fireplace's Carrara Marble mantels has its own distinctive appearance with fine grey and grey blue veining.
Portuguese limestone formed over 50 million years ago and quarried in Portugual. The characteristic darker veins, intermingled with blooms and whisps of fossilised leaves are not considered defects but part of the stones natural beauty.
